Welcome to my portfolio!  

I am Belinda Wong, a Master's of Public Health (MPH) candidate at San Francisco State University. This portfolio was created to demonstrate my accomplished work. The following overview is divided into sections shown in the left sidebar.

My professional background is in chronic disease health outcomes research- first as a research assistant and then as study coordinator at UCSF's Arthritis Research Group.  After working for a number of years, I returned to school to gain new knowledge and practice in public health.  The program's practice-based curriculum was instrumental in enhancing my leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills. 

The MPH degree has served me well as I have accepted a promotion to manage the editorial office of the peer-reviewed scientific journal Arthritis Care & Research.  I look forward to my next career step, and again, welcome you to my journey to date.
